This is a painting I did right after the Tsunami disaster on Dec 26 2004. We were challenged to think about the fragility of life and how it is a gift and that we should make full use of it (when we still possess it)

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
